About HONEYBEEZ PRE-SCHOOL & AFTERCARE


Honeybee "A hive of activity". Honeybee is a private Pre-School and registered through the Education Department. The educational system we use is geared towards active learning, thus encouraging the children to use their own initiative and think for themselves. Our school curriculum runs in conjunction with the Government School Terms, and our age group requirement structure is as per the National Education Department's Government Gazette. All our classrooms are air-conditioned, painted out in bright colours, and we offer separate classes for each age group, from our babies/toddlers to our Grade R and After Care. All classes are in a daily routine and a structured program, and music is also included as a weekly lesson and Classical Music/Drama for the Grade R class. We also include creative activities, fantasy play, gross and fine motor skill activities, ball skills, and ensuring the children have the requirements for Grade 1. The children are kept busy throughout the year with concerts, dress-up days, educational shows, Grade R Graduation, etc.
